ABOUT
Kyle
Behymer

My name is Kyle Behymer. I’m from Columbus, Indiana - a small city about an hour from Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Louisville. For its size, it’s produced a few recognizable names: Tony Stewart, Chuck Taylor, Mike Pence, Jamie Hyneman, and Stephen Sprouse. Not bad company to grow up around.
I graduated from Indiana University in 2020, which, as you might remember, was an interesting year to finish college. I studied Communication Studies with a focus in Digital Media, diving into graphic design, television aesthetics, genre theory, internet culture, and digital community building. I was also part of a student-led sports show at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis — so if anyone at ESPN is scrolling… hello.
After graduation, I joined CERA Sports Park & Campground full-time as Marketing & Event Coordinator. My role blends strategy and execution — leading campaign development, producing creative assets, managing digital presence, and planning large-scale events throughout the year.
One of the most notable projects under my direction is When Darkness Falls — an immersive Halloween experience that has grown significantly year over year. I oversee its branding, marketing strategy, creative direction, partnerships, and event execution. From visual identity and promotional rollout to on-site experience and revenue growth, it’s become a flagship seasonal production and a case study in building regional buzz through strong storytelling and design. In 2025, we placed in Scare Factor's top Indiana Haunted Attractions, cementing that the experience really is becoming a one-of-a-kind.
Outside of CERA, I serve as Creative Director for OVLKD Athletics (Overlooked). What started as helping a friend expand his Barbershop evolved into building a community brand that has helped hundreds in our community. I’ve sourced and designed merchandise, coordinated with apparel manufacturers, planned community events, backpack drives, and haircut giveaways, co-developed an in-house men’s grooming product line, and sold directly through the shop.
Beyond the screen and camera, I try to stay inspired. I spend time with my dog, Oni. I’m an avid tattoo collector, NBA fan, gamer, and self-appointed Spotify DJ.
If you’ve made it this far, I respect it.
